Roland F. Lagarde Sr., 81, a native of Lafourche Parish, La., and resident of Larose, La., died Friday, June 6, 2014.
Mr. Lagarde was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War and a member of American Legion Post 315 in Galliano, La.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth Lagarde; son, Thomas (Melanie) Lagarde; daughter, Leslie (Dean) Plaisance; brothers, Lionel and Ralph Lagarde; sisters, Helen Hendrix, Marion Claudell, June Hermann, Dora Topham and Nora Orgeron; and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his son, Roland Lagarde Jr.; and parents, J.T. and Juliette Lagarde.
Burial is at Holy Rosary Catholic Church Cemetery in Larose. (Falgout)
