Roland Charles McPherson Sr., 42, a native of Houma, La., and resident of Chauvin, La., died Tuesday, May 3, 2011.
Mr. McPherson was a member of Mount Calvary Baptist Church of Chauvin. He was a painter at APA Fabrication.
He is survived by his wife, Anastasia Richardson McPherson; sons, Dalvin Richardson and Roland McPherson Jr.; daughters, Jalissa and Rolanda McPherson; brothers, Freddie Jr., Kevin, Michael (Marion) and Darrell McPherson, Timothy (Latrice), Lester (Rachel) and Jeremy Williams, and Michael Barnette; and sisters, Elaine Williams, Ann Robinson, Martha (Ernest) Skidmore and Alice Mahoney.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Williams and Dorothy Victor.
He is buried at Halfway Cemetery. (Gertrude Geddes Willis-Terrebonne)
