Ronald Joseph Toland, 47, a native of Gary, Id. and a resident of Houma, La. died recently.

He is survived by his three sisters, Donna Rauscher, Teri Cifalio, and Beverly Mulvaney; and many nieces and nephews.


He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Maxine Toland; one brother, Timothy Toland; and one sister Rustina Creager.

On July 7, 2007, Ronald was a victim of a brutal attack that left him a coma, from which he never recovered. He moved to Houma in 1994 where he worked in the oilfield. He was a loving, gentle man, with many friends and will be immensely missed.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, November 5, 2007, at 6:30 p.m. at Samart Funeral Home in Houma. The family invites all of Ronald’s friends to come and celebrate his life.
