Ronnie Wayne Lightsey Sr., 64, a native of New Orleans, La., and resident of Patterson, La., died Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2011.
Mr. Lightsey was an outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish. He also enjoyed woodworking and visiting with family and friends.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Emelda Lightsey; sons, Ronnie Jr. (Kelda) and Waylon Lightsey; one brother; three sisters; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his sons, Leroy and Louis Lightsey; and parents, Dewitt and Emily Lightsey.
Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Friday, Oct. 21, and 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 22, at Ibert’s Mortuary with services to follow. Burial will be at Ibert’s Memorial Park Cemetery. (Ibert’s)
