Roosevelt P. “Shorty” Guidry, 81, a native and resident of Cut Off, La., died Sunday, March 16, 2014.
Mr. Guidry was a past member of the Cut Off Fire Department and Cut Off Fishing Club. He was a founding member of the Cut Off Youth Center and a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
He is survived by his brother, Roman Guidry; one nephew; and four nieces.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ellis and Julie Guidry; and brother, Joseph Guidry.
Visitation will be 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 18, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cut Off with Mass of Christian Burial to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery. (Falgout)
