December 11, 2013Rosalie Lawson-Woods, 68, a native of Lafourche Parish, La., and resident of Thibodaux, La., died Sunday, Dec. 8, 2013.
She is survived by her sons, Earl Jr. (Tremeka), Troy Sr. and Vincent (Dacia) Woods; daughters, Debra and Penny Woods; sisters, Mary (U.S.) Davidson, Lynn and Wilma Jones, Gilda Robinson, Phyllis and Monica Jackson and Barbara Hazy; brothers, Jerry (Sibylle) Lawson, Phelton (Daisy) Gray and Joseph Jr., Keith, Karl and Cedric Jackson; 15 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Woods Sr.; parents, Jeremiah and Ida Lawson; father, Joseph Jackson Sr.; sister, Betty Kelly; and brother, Charles Shelby Sr.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 14, at New Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in Labadieville, La., with services to follow. Burial will be at Allen Chapel Cemetery. (Jones)
