Rose Mae Suttoon, 80, a resident of Morgan City, La., died Sunday, Jan. 5, 2014.
Mrs. Suttoon was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be remembered for her wonderful cooking – especially her beef stew. She always had a place at her table for her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband, Nolan Suttoon Sr.; son, Ranney Sr. (Judith) Suttoon; sisters, Virgie Chassion and Audrey Delaune; brother, Aubrey Mayon; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clonie and Evelyn Mayon; son, Nolan Suttoon Jr.; two brothers; and four sisters.
Burial is at Morgan City Cemetery. (Twin City)
