Rosemary Aucoin Fonseca, 69, a native of Paincourtville, La., and a resident of Des Allemands, La., died Tuesday, April 22, at 8:10 a.m.
She is survived by her husband, Edward “Toe Joe” Fonseca; mother, Irene Aucoin; son, Randy Fonseca and wife Debbie; daughters, Shelia F. Southard and husband Steve, Tammy F. Becnel and husband Jason and Angela F. Reyna; brother, Michael Aucoin; sisters, Lucy Ramsey, Doris Tait and Betty Cortez; 14 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Murphy Aucoin; and brother, Jimmy Aucoin.
She was a parishioner of St. Gertrude Catholic Church in Des Allemands.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Thursday, April 24, at St. Gertrude Catholic Church with a mass of Christian burial to follow. She will be buried at St. Gertrude Cemetery.
Falgout Funeral Home of Raceland is in charge of the arrangements.
