Roy “Skippy” Miller Sr., 62, a native and resident of Houma, La., died at 6:44 p.m. Wednesday, July 2.


He is survived by four sons, Christopher Cotton and wife, Kristy, Clarence “Mike” and wife, Paulette, Jerry Ristine and Alexander Frantom; one daughter, Elizabeth Miller and fiance, Kevin “LuLu”; two brothers, Richard Battise Sr. and Bobby Miller; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Adrian Miller; his mother, Elizabeth DeSiley Ware; one son, Roy J. Miller Jr.; and one sister, Rita Ann Chauvin.

Samart Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of the arrangements.
