Thibodaux church finds its place after 10-year expansion
January 12, 2010Ruby Knapp Bivona, 87, a native and resident of Jonesville, La., died Thursday, Jan. 7, 2010.
She was a home maker and a member of the Liberty Worship Center.
She is survived by her daughter, Becky Ramsey; grandson, Richard (Ashley) Ramsey Jr.; granddaughter, Rachel (Jesse) Beard; great-grandson, Tyler Beard; great-granddaughters, Jenna Ramsey and Skyler Beard; brothers, W.C. and Huey (Mona) Knapp; sister, Shirley (George) White; and sister-in-law, Anne (Zippy) Ford.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Bivona; parents, William and Amelia Frith Knapp; and sisters, Maudell Melancon and Nita Johnson.
She is buried at Heard Cemetery in Manifest.
Young’s Funeral Home in Jonesville is in charge of arrangements.
