Russell Paul LeBoeuf, 70, a native and resident of Montegut, La., died at 7:45 a.m. Monday, Oct. 18, 2010.


Mr. LeBoeuf worked at South Coast Sugar Refinery when he was young. He was retired from Texaco after 30 years of service. He enjoyed gardening, and fixing up the house. He was a member of Tri-Community Fellowship.

He is survived by his wife, Ruby Lirette LeBoeuf; mother, Bridget LeBoeuf; sons, James “Jim” (Marnie) and Troy LeBoeuf; daughter, Sheryl (Brady) Brazan; stepdaughters, Melissa (Carey) Chauvin, Nara (Brent) Pellegrin and Kerrie (Lloyd) Frazier; stepson, Norris (Belinda Duckworth) Nettleton III; brother, Royce (Claudia) LeBoeuf; brothers-in-law, Ashley “Kye” (DeAnna) Lirette and Allen “Bill” (Evelyn) Lirette; family friends, Gordon and Michelle Chaisson, and Kevin and Roxanne Belanger; four grandchildren, Krystal and Jonathan LeBoeuf, and Collin and Kyle Brazan; seven step-grandchildren, Carrigan Chauvin, Jamie and Brandon Pellegrin, Lindsey and Jacob Ledet, and Garrett and Emily Frazier; one step-great-grandchild, Emily Frazier; and his untouchable sidekick cat, Noo Noo the Rock.


He was preceded in death by his father, Leon Jean LeBoeuf, paternal grandparents, Clairfey and Clotiel Naquin LeBoeuf; and maternal grandparents, Eveste Francois and Emily Trahan Authement.

Special thanks to Dr. Gamble and all his staff at Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center, Leanne Boudreaux from Southern Care Hospice and also his pastor and friend Lionel Menge.

He is buried at St. Elie Cemetery.
