Russell J. Ockman, 70, a native of Vacherie, La., and resident of Chackbay, La., died on Friday, April 21, 2017.
Mr. Ockman enjoyed fishing, his camp and cooking for loved ones.
He is survived by his wife, Jean P. Ockman; children, Blaine (Ashley), Greg, Brent (Janna) and Mark (Azadeh) Ockman and Nikki (Eric) Hebert; parents, William and Hazel Ockman; brothers, Randy (Nancy) and Gary (Linda) Ockman; and eight grandchildren.
Burial is at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Cemetery in Chackbay.
