Ruth Bergeron Raffray, 83, a native and resident of Houma, La., died Sunday, April 6, 2014.
She is survived by her children, Ruth (Hank) Prats, June (Jerry) Bledsoe, Stanley III (Darlene) and Robert (Claire) Bergeron and Bonnie (Frank) Nixon; siblings, Avery and Bernard Bergeron, Gail Clark and Susan Geraci; 15 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alden Raffray; first husband and father of her children, Stanley Bergeron Jr.; parents, Clifton Sr. and Cecile Bergeron; and siblings, Clifton Jr., Benny Sr. and Gerald Bergeron; Bonnie Caudell and Cecile Barker.
Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, April 10, and 9 to 11 a.m. Friday, April 11, at Samart Funeral Home with services to follow. Burial will be at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Gray La. (Samart)
