Rykia Shantell Johnson, 6, a native and resident of Houma, La., died Saturday, October 11.
She is survived by her parents, Shantae and Ricky Johnson Sr., of Houma; five sisters, Jalaiya Johnson of Lithonia, Ga., Rickinsh Jones of Houma, Renisha Poindexter, Rickeisha Poindexter and Honesty Poindexter of Lafayette, La.; three brothers, Jaden Johnson, Ricky Poindexter Jr., and Darrendont Ross all of Houma; maternal grandparents, Monique Neal and Clarence Neal of Lithonia; paternal grandparents, Pastor Lorraine Fusilier and James Fusilier of Houma; and Bobby Sr. and Keena Simmons of Houma.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, October 18, at Living Gospel Church in Houma with a religious service to follow. She will be buried at Crescent Farms Cemetery in Houma.
Kennedy Funeral Home of Raceland, La., is in charge of the arrangements.
