April 8, 2010Sam Vaccarella, 72, a native and resident of Morgan City, La., died Saturday, March 27, 2010, at 4:35 p.m. at Teche Regional Medical Center in Morgan City.
Mr. Vaccarella was a St. Mary Parish teacher for many years. He covered high school sports for The Daily Review.
He is survived by his sisters, Mary Anne Vaccarella and Carrie (Nolan) Bernuchoy; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is buried at the Morgan City Cemetery.
