Sandra Ann Chauvin, 75, a native and resident of Houma passed away Tuesday August 21,2018 at 4:45 AM.
Sandra is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Lawrence Thomas Sevin-Chauvin. Her children Bryan Scott and wife Sheri, Shane T. and wife Lorri, Shawn E. Chauvin., and Leslie Ber and husband Doug. Brother: Charles Donald Boudreaux Jr. and wife Faith. Her loving granddaughters: Kristen Ber, Lauren Chauvin, Emma Chauvin, Katelyn Chauvin, Hannah Chauvin, Julie Chauvin, Francesca Chauvin, and grandsons: Austin Ber, Cameron Chauvin, Jacques Chauvin, Evan Chauvin, Bradley Ber, and great-grandson: Isaiah Chauvin
Sandra was an educator in the Terrebonne Parish Public School System for 33 years and was part owner of The Furniture Place for 20 years. Her interests included the Krewe of Hyacinthians Mardi Gras Club and the Red Hat Society. She also enjoyed reading and playing bridge with some of her closest friends. She took pride in her family especially her grandchildren, and enjoyed watching her shows through the use of Netflix. Her rescue dog Jax loved her unconditionally, and was a great companion.
