Sandra Bergeron Fanguy, 59, a native and resident of Houma, La., died Wednesday, January 30, 2008, at 9:30 p.m.


She is survived by her mother, Rita Eschete Bergeron of Houma; son, James Fanguy and wife, Angel, of Houma; daughter, Sherry Robichaux and husband, Oscar, of Houma; brother, Barrie Bergeron of Houma; sister, Bonnie McFann of Colorado Springs, Co.; and grandchildren, Abbie Fanguy, Katrina Robichaux and Katherine Robichaux.


She was preceded in death by her father, Abbie T. Bergeron Jr.; and infant brother, Dana Bergeron.

Sandra was a retired cook at Cannata’s Supermarket and a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Cathedral.

Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Friday, February 1, 2008, at Chauvin Funeral Home and 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 2, 2008, at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral with mass to follow. She will be buried in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2.

Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
