Thibodaux church finds its place after 10-year expansion
January 12, 2010Shedrick Reado Jr., A.K.A. Robert Collins, 65, a native of Raceland, La., and a resident of Nashville, Tenn., died Monday, Jan. 4, 2010.
He was a faithful member of Mt. Gilead Missionary Baptist Church in Nashville.
He is survived by his wife, Gwendolyn Collins; daughters, Ann Barrett, Rochelle (Daryl) James, and Erin D. and Sabrina Hendrix; sons, Shedrick III and Edward Reado; brothers, Claville (Virginia), Morris, Terry Bruce, and Glenn Ray Reado; sisters, Noella (Richard) Triggs, Cheryl Jackson, Gwendolyn (Michael) Webb, and Gaynell (Jessie) Bowman; and nine grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Shedrick Sr. and Augustine Reado; daughter, Marie Reado; and brothers, Benjamin and Esau Reado.
Kennedy Funeral Home of Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
