Sherry Lynn Gautreaux, 42, a native and resident of Raceland, La., died Monday, March 7, 2011.
Mrs. Gautreaux was a parishioner of St. Hilary of Poitiers Catholic Church. She enjoyed fishing, was a great cook and animal lover. She will be remembered as a fun-loving person who loved her daughter dearly.
She is survived by her father, Johnny Gautreaux; daughter, Brittney Rel; aunts, JoAnn (Al) Savoie and Susie (Dave) Bonar; uncle, Joseph “Buster” (Chery) Boudreaux Jr.; and nine cousins, Leslie Jambon, Nicholas Savoie, Kim DeGriuse, Rhonda and Dustin Boudreaux, Lanie Labit, Buffy Robertson, and Denny and Cory Bonar.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Judy B. Gautreaux; and her grandparents, Joe and Lena Boudreaux.
In lieu of flowers, donations are preferred to help with funeral expenses.
She is buried at St. Hilary of Poitiers Catholic Church Cemetery. (Falgout)
