Shirley Falsetta, 88, a resident of Donaldsonville, La., died Thursday, Nov. 24, 2011.
Mrs. Falsetta and her husband owned and operated Tony’s Pizza for many years. She was always known for her outstanding homemade pizzas at the restaurant.
She is survived by her daughter, Debbie (Henry) Landry; grandchildren, Tony (Patricia) Landry, Mary Beth (James) Magee and Sarah (Ryan) Ponder; sister, Theresa Redmond; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Tony Falsetta; parents, Luther and Edna Ware; sister, Leona Lapeyrolerie; and brother, Daniel Ware.
Visitation will be 8:30 to 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 26, at Ascension of Our Lord Catholic Church in Donaldsonville with Mass of Christian Burial to follow. Entombment will be at the church mausoleum. (Ourso)
