Shirley Mae Thomas

Shirley Mae Thomas, 71, a native of Opelousas, La., and resident of Plaquemine, La., died at 8:31 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 24, 2010 at Plaquemine Caring Center.

She is survived by her brothers, Deacon Clinton (Marion) and Clifford (Doris) Thomas; and sisters, Eileen (E.J.) Cormier, Mary Jane (Julian) Charles, Mary Ann (Eddie) Willis, Betty Jean Moore, Joyce Ann O’Gwilivie, Mary C. Gray and Veronica Carbon.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters; and three brothers.

She is buried at St. Jules Catholic Church in Franklin, La.
