Shirley M. Ratcliff, 87, a native and resident of Morgan City, La., died Saturday, Sept. 4, 2010.
Mrs. Ratcliff was a founding and active member of Holy Cross Catholic Church in Morgan City. She loved her church and was a committed member of the Ladies Altar Society. She was an active member of the St. Mary Chapter of AARP and served on its board of directors. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her sons, Randolph Jr. (Barbara) and Ronald Sr. (Sandra) Ratcliff; daughters, Elsie (Bobby) Gaudet and Susan (Norris) Leon; brother Marshall (Liz) Mayon; 14 grandchildren; and 33 great-grandchildren.
Burial was at Morgan City Cemetery.
