Shirley Savoie Brunet, 82, a native and resident of Houma, La., died Saturday, Feb. 4, 2012.
Mrs. Brunet was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church. She was a bookkeeper for J.B. Tool Repair, Co. Inc. for 50 years and was a member of the Holy Rosary Ladies Altar Society and the Houma Women’s Bowling Association.
She is survived by her husband, James Brunet Sr.; sons, Deacon James Jr. (Amy) and Jerome (Sharon) Brunet; daughters, Gayle (Donald) Loupe and Phyllis (Morris) Babin; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Mae Savoie; brother, Leroy Savoie; and sister, Una Crochet.
Burial was at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery. (Chauvin)
