Charlie, Delta companies returning to frontline

Sidney Griffin, 88, a native of Golden Meadow, La., and a resident of Galliano, La., died Monday, Sept. 14, at 10:10 a.m.
He is survived by one son, Donald Griffin and wife Betty; two grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ursula Griffin; parents, Samuel and Emma Crosby Griffin; five brothers, Samuel Jr., Paul, Gustave, Anderson and Webb Griffin; and six sisters, Amelia Autin, Emelia Collins, Angelle Martin, Oxilia Griffin, Viola Griffin and Willa Mae Leonard.
Visitation will be 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 16, at Falgout Funeral Home in Galliano with a religious service to follow. Burial will be at Cheramie Cemetery in Galliano.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
