April 1, 2010Sidney Mitchell, 81, a native of Morgan City, La., and a resident of Patterson, La., died at 6:30 a.m. Saturday, March 20, 2010, at the Patterson HealthCare Center.
He is survived by sons, Melvin (Florinda) Jackson and John Dugan; sisters, Ruth Cross and Janet Daniels; stepdaughter, Diane Jones; stepsons, James and Kenneth Escort Sr.; four grandchildren and a host of other grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He is buried at Morgan City Cemetery
