Sidney John Allen Seely, 81, a native of New Iberia, La., and resident of Houma, La., died at 10:55 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2010.
Mr. Seely’s last employment was with Washington Manufacturing Company. He was a parishioner of St. Bernadette Soubirous Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Moon Seely; son, Michael Allen (Sheila); and their children, Amanda Seely, Kristi (Stephen) Robert; and their children, Cooper and Carter; son, Patrick (Diane) Seely; and their children, Ashley and Brian (Lindsay) Seely; and their children, Madeleine and Noah; daughter, Susan Seely Faulk, and her children, Brett Faulk, Michelle (Sammy) LeBlanc and Joey Bohannon; daughter, Laurie (Noah “Buba”) Dugas; and their children, Jarred, Baylen and Jayden; daughter-in-law, Jill Bianca; and her children, Jacob (Erica) and Benjamin Seely; and his daughter, Aubree; and sister, Myra (Harold) McDaniel.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sidney Sr. and Laura Bourgeois Seely; son, Daniel Bruce Seely; and one great-grandson, Christopher Faulk.
She is buried at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No.2.
