Sylvester James “Joe Joe” Curole Jr., 46, a native and resident of Lockport, La., died at 1:45 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 24, 2011.
Mr. Curole worked for North American Shipyard for 15 years as a sandblaster/painter. He enjoyed the outdoors especially being on the water and was an excellent husband, father and grandfather.
He is survived by his wife, Michelle Curole; son, Kason Curole; daughter, Megan Curole; grandson, Kobi Curole; brothers, Jesse, Frank, Tommy, Freddy, Mathew, Mark and Brian Curole; sisters, Brenda Hebert and Ella Curole; and mother, Leverta Curole.
He was preceded in death by his son, Tyson Curole; brother, Jimmy Curole; sister, Sylvia Curole; and father, Sylvester Curole Sr.
Visitation will be 4 to 9 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 27, and 8 to 10:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 28, at Falgout Funeral Chapel in Lockport. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Holy Savior Catholic Church with burial at the church cemetery. (Falgout)
