Sylvia “Bird Lady” Sams, 55, a native and resident of Grand Isle, La. died Tuesday, October 23, 2007, at 7:20 a.m.
She is survived by her companion, Richard Smith; her mother, Lorena “Irene” Adams; one son, Kelly Sams; three brothers, Roy, Doyle, and Kenneth Seward; and one sister, Debrah Walsh.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Doyle Preston Seward, Sr.
Slyvia was a devout Baptist.
Visitation is Saturday, November 3, 2007, from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., with the funeral to follow at First Baptist Church of Grand Isle.
Samart-Mothe Funeral is in charge of the arrangements.
