Taneshia “NUNU” Williams Brown, 41, a native of Morgan City, La., and a resident of LaGrande, Ore., died Friday, Sept. 11 due to automobile accident.


She leaves to cherish her memory her father, Frank Garrett of Berwick, La.; mother, Gloria Williams Smith of Morgan City; former husband, Roger Brown; six children, Justin Lavar Brown, Candy Lynn Brown, Brandy Lynn Brown, Kayla Marie Brown, Fayla Marie Brown and Brittany Nicole Brown; three brothers, Charles Williams of Seattle, Wash., John Garrett of Patterson, La., and Dannay Ray Williams of Morgan City; three sisters, Areshia Ann Williams of Houston, Texas, and Lucinda Denise Smith and Vannalois Elaine Smith, both of Morgan City; two grandchildren of Marksville, La.; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 24 at Higher Ground Holiness Church with the funeral service to follow. Burial will be at Patterson Cemetery.

Jones Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
