October 2, 2013Thelma L. Smith, 101, a native of Lake Charles, La., and resident of Morgan City, La., died Thursday, Sept. 26, 2013.
She is survived by her brother, Earl Washington; sister, Betty (Frank) Caudle; niece, Wanda (Cornel) Keeler; and nephew, Emmett (Linda) Washington.
Visitation will be 8 to 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 5, at Walmsley United Methodist Church in Morgan City with services to follow. Burial will be at Providence Memorial Park Cemetery in Metairie, La. (Jones)
