Thelma “Tel” Boudreaux Daigle, 90, a native and resident of Labadieville, La., died Thursday, July 16.


She is survived by 14 nieces and nephews; and more than 40 great-nieces and nephews.


She was preceded in death by her husband, Harmon Daigle; parents, Odressie and Cordelia Albert Boudreaux; one sister, Shirley B. Talbot; one brother, Herbert “Dutch” Boudreaux; and five nieces and nephews.

Although she had no children, she was a mother to many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and cared for many elderly family members.

Visitation will be 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Monday, July 20, at Landry’s Funeral Home with mass to follow at St. Philomena Catholic Church. Burial will be at the church cemetery.

Landry’s Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
