Theresa Marjorie Begue Authement, 81, a native and resident of Houma, La., died at 9:45 am Tuesday, March 22, 2011.
Mrs. Authement was a homemaker and devoted Catholic. She enjoyed sewing, floral arranging and loved her grandchildren dearly.
She is survived by her son, Glen “Odee” (Joycelyn) Authement; daughter, Loretta (Louis) Dugas; six grandchildren, Heather Hebert, Lynn Ann and Roy Authement, Jean Paul Stafford, and Shane and Brady Dugas; eight great-grandchildren; sister, Joyce Dupont; and brothers, Harold Begue and Wayne Domangue.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Allen “Monk” Authement; daughter, Mary Ann; one son, John Allen; parents, Lionel Sr. and Ora Vega Begue; one brother, Lionel Begue Jr.; and two sisters, Marguerite Domangue and Edith Begue Richard.
She is buried at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2.
