Theresa C. Price, 81, a native and resident of Bayou Blue, La., died Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2014.
Mrs. Price was a beautiful, strong and courageous woman. She loved her husband and her children so very much and was always there any time she was needed. She loved floral designing and listening to Conway Twitty and taught her daughters all of her talents – sewing, crocheting, crafting, cooking and gardening.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Junior Price; children, Gloria (George) Marcel, Carolyn (Curtis) Landry, Jerry (Debra), Richard (GiGi) and Johnny (Kathy) Price, Debbie (Bryan) Bruno and Donna (Kirby) Naquin; brothers, Jackson and Lester Chaisson; 29 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Janet Price; parents, Nelson and Edna Chaisson; sisters, Eviola Cross and Laura Chaisson; brothers, Lawrence, Easton and Chester Chaisson; and one great-grandchild.
Visitation will be 5 to 9 p.m. Friday, Feb. 28, and 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, March 1, at Samart Funeral Home with services to follow. Burial will be at St. Francis Cemetery No. 2. (Samart)
