March 2, 2010Theresa JoAnne Belanger Nicol, 74, a native and resident of Houma, La., died Tuesday, Feb. 23, 2010.
She is survived by her husband, George Nicol; son, Lester Chaisson; daughters, Karla Meche and Evelyn Bailey; two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Hubert Belanger and Anciana Chatagnier Belanger; son, Dan Pontiff; brother, John Belanger Sr.; and sister, Wendy Guillotte.
She is buried at Holy Rosary Cemetery.
Smart Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of arrangements.
