Council restricts multi-colored tombs

Therese Ray McGraw, 83, a native of Opelousas, La., and resident of Franklin, La., died at 9:05 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 15, 2012.
Mrs. McGraw was very proud of having received her Registered Nursing Degree from Charity School of Nursing in New Orleans, La. She was a longtime employee of Franklin Foundation Hospital.
She is survived by her children, Kathy and Johnny (Susette) Saichuk, Chuck (Debi) and Robert (Kim) Minyard and Mary (Loren) Wolff; step-sons, Michael and John (Margaret) McGraw; brother, Charles (Veronica) Ray; seven grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Horace McGraw; parents, Bernard and Elmire Ray; brother, Clement Ray; infant twin sisters; and step-granddaughter, Ruthie McGraw.
Burial was at St. John Cemetery in Lewisburg, La. (Ibert’s)
