Thomas ” Big Will” Haydel, 86, a native and resident of Schriever, La., Friday, Dec. 08, 2006.
The Religious Services will be 9 to 11 a.m. funeral time Monday at St. Bridget Catholic Church in Shriever. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Solidelle Babin Haydel; his son, Robert Charles Haydel; his daughters; his brother, Raymond “Jake” Haydel; his sister, Joyce LeBouf; 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Jeanne Haydel; one son, Michael ” Beaver” Haydel; one brother, John Haydel, and a son in-law, James Squires.
He participated in atteding the 457 Army Air Corp Reunions for 18 years.
He never met a stranger and always will be remembered for his sense of humor.
Thibodaux funeral home will be in charge of the arrangements.
