Tyari K’wan Smith Jr., 2, a native of Terrebonne Parish, La., and resident of Houma, La., died Thursday, Jan. 7, 2010.
He is survived by his father, Tyari K’wan Smith Sr.; sisters, Tatyana and Sariah Smith; grandparents, Jose and Leticia Chavez, and Alisha Smith Price; and great-grandmother, Irma Smith.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Maria Elizabeth Chavez; and great-grandfather, Nicholas Smith Jr.
He was Catholic.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 12, at Mount Calvary Baptist Church in Chauvin, La., with the funeral service to follow. Burial will be Friday, Jan. 15, at All Souls Cemetery in Long Beach, Calif.
Community Funeral Home of Houma and All Souls Funeral Home of Long Beach are in charge of arrangements.
