Tyler “Joe” Singer, 58, a resident of Thibodaux, La., died at 11:51 a.m. Wednesday, March 30, 2011.
Mr. Singer was a loyal employee of Settoon Towing as a tankerman.
He is survived by his wife, JoAnn Falcon-Singer; brothers, Pat and Peter Singer; three stepsons; two stepdaughters-in-law; and two step-granddaughters.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ronnie and Gloria Singer; and his paternal and maternal grandparents.
Special thanks to his closest friends Willie Guillot, Boo Caillouet and Sandra Simmons for their loving care as well as Mary his nurse with St. Joseph Hospice. As Joe was a loving and giving person throughout his life, he also was through his death. It was his wishes to donate his body to science so that through research maybe someone else could be cured and given life. As Joe would say, “Remember the good times and remember me.”
