Vera Falls Jeff, 58, a native of Terrebonne Parish, La., and a resident of Houma, La., died
Saturday, September 13.
She is survived by her husband, Willie L. Jeff Sr.; one son, Willie L. Jeff Jr.; one daughter, Hope D. Jeff; five brothers, Willie Falls, Micheal Falls, Richard Falls, Samuel Falls and Walter Harold; two sisters, JoAnn Falls Pollard and Hestell Harold Jones; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Johnny Marks and Richard and Dorothy G. Harold; one brother, Robert Gasery; one sister, Barbara J. Williams; and her grandparents, Walter and Daisy Gasery and Elizabeth and Willie Marks Sr.
She was president of the usher board and was a homemaker. She was a member of First Baptist Church.
Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, September 18, at Community Funeral Home. The service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, September 19, at First Baptist Church, with burial in the church cemetery.
Community Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
