Veronica Dupre Mcclanahan, 58, a native of New Orleans, La., and a resident of Houma, La., died Wednesday, Sept. 15, 2010.
Ms. Mcclanahan was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church. She was a caring person who loved her grandchildren and was always ready to give.
She is survived by her sons, Dwayne (Tamara), Timmy (Kara) and Todd (Valerie) Mcclanahan; brothers, Norman and David Dupre; sister, Patricia Larrabee; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, Sept. 17, and 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 18, at Chauvin Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with burial to follow at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2.
