May 6, 2010Victor J. “Pee Wee” Barquet Jr., 71, a native of New Orleans, La., and resident of Houma, La., died Wednesday, April 21, 2010.
Mr. Barquet was a parishioner of St. Lucy Catholic Church. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran and a member of the Knights of Peter Clever. He retired from Barker after 42 years, where he worked as a body and fender technician.
He is survived by his wife, Velma Wolfe Barquet; mother, Helen Diaz George; sons, Charles, Bernard (Vanessa) and Micheal (Roslyn) and Donald (Tammy) Barquet; daughter, Ann (Craig Sr.) Bonvillian; brothers, Donald and Glenn Barquet and William Saffold; sisters, Vera Lecour, Sandra Winnfield and Dianne and Denise Barquet; 12 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Mr. Barquet is buried at Holy Rosary Cemetery.
