Victor Minos Ronsonet, 82, a native of Patoutville, La., and resident of Baldwin, La., died at 10:25 p.m. Friday, Sept. 23, 2011.


Mr. Ronsonet was employed with the St. Mary Parish Drainage Board for over 30 years retiring as a supervisor. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, a big sports fan and loved to dance. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather whose passion was entertaining and feeding family and friends.


He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Virginia Ronsonet; daughter, Linda (Johnny) Titus; sons, Terry, Bryan (Elise) and Kurt (Joni) Ronsonet; sisters, Gertrude Girouard and Lelia (Carrol) Sonnier; brother, Arthur Ronsonet; nine grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lenes and Odile Ronsonet; brother, Lester Ronsonet; and sister, Delores Post.

Interment was at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church Mausoleum in Baldwin. (Ibert’s)
