Victor Morrell, 73, a native and resident of Schriever, La., died at 7 a.m. Sunday, June 26, 2011.
He is survived by his wife, Angel Morrell; sons, Carey (Angelica) and Victor (Linda) Morrell; daughters, Katherine (Philip) Weimer and Cynthia Morrell; seven grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Louise Morrell; and brothers, Louis Jr. and Brigadier Gen. Jimmy Morrell.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made for funeral expenses.
Burial was at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Cemetery. (Thibodaux)
