Virginia Ruth Williams, 84, a native of Brownwood, Tx., and a resident of Golden Meadow, La., died at 2:10 p.m. Saturday, May 31.
She is survived by her son, Donnie D. Williams and wife, Peggy, of Cut Off, La.; daughters, Wanda Goodroe and husband, Woody, of Thibodaux, La., and Denise Griffin and husband, Daniel, of Golden Meadow; sister, Lennie Stueteville of Brownwood; seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman Mack Williams; and her parents, W.L. and Dorsie White Bradford.
She was a member of Golden Meadow Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, Golden Meadow American Legion Post No. 259, Golden Meadow Senior Citizens Center and Golden Meadow Krewe of Atlantis.
Memorial donations can be made to Golden Meadow Senior Citizens Center.
She was buried at Williams Cemetery.
