November 7, 2011Virginia Williams Rizan, 91, a native of Golden Meadow, La., and resident of Lockport, La., died at 10:40 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2011.
Mrs. Rizan was Baptist.
She is survived by her sons, Eddie Rizan, Leo Diek and Jimmie and Butch Williams; sisters, Enola Gulf and Henrietta Tangelin; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eustace Rizan; parents, Jean Jr. and Noella Williams; daughter, Eula Dardar; brothers, Omar and Roy Williams; and sisters, Hilda Naquin and Annette Collins.
Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 6, and 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 7, at Samart-Mothe Funeral Home with services to follow. Burial will be at Our Lady of the Rosary Cemetery in Larose, La. (Samart-Mothe)
