Wade “T-Nom” Joseph Trahan Sr., 78, a native and resident of Chauvin, La., died at 4:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 12, 2012.

Mr. Trahan was a U.S. Marine veteran. He was a fisherman who enjoyed singing and playing the guitar. He was Catholic.


He is survived by his wife, Bertha Trahan; son, Wade Trahan Jr.; daughters, Rhonda (David) LeCompte, Greta (Max) Reeves and Lisa (Wayne) Matherne; stepson, Brice Authement; stepdaughter, Wanda (Larry) Law; sisters, Ismay (Alton) Naquin, Virginia Pitre and Mary Trahan; 10 grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and 11 step-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Anatole and Lois Trahan.

Burial was at St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery in Chauvin. (Samart)
