Walter “White” Landry, 85, a native of Chackbay, La., and resident of Thibodaux, La., died Monday, August 20, 2007.
He is survived by his wife, Therese Corine Thibodaux Landry; five sons, Larry, Walter Jr., Todd, Nathan and Robert Landry; one daughter, Dale Landry Martinez; one brother, Louis Landry; 14 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Cletus Landry and Lylia Rousseau Landry; one son, Leroy Landry; one daughter, Margaret Landry; one brother, Oneal Landry; two sisters, Lillian Perez and Rita Mcintyre; one grandchild, Joseph Landry; and one great-grandchild, Seth Landry.
Visitation is Thursday, August 23, 2007, from 5:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Thibodaux Funeral Home and Friday, August 24, 2007, from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m., with the funeral to follow at St. Joseph Co-Cathedral in Thibodaux. He will be buried in the church cemetery.
Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
