Bayou Cane uses grant money for fire safety
October 7, 2010Wayne Carter, 52, a native and resident of Houma, La., died Saturday, Oct. 2, 2010.
Mr. Carter was Baptist and a member of St. Luke Baptist Church and a U. S. Army Veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Ann Carter; mother, Onita Harris; stepfather, Charles Harris; brother, James “Jimmy” (Meldren) Carter; and sisters, Sandra Brown, Rosa (Reginald Cheavis) Coleman and JoAnn (Herman Sr.) Coleman.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Ervin Carter Jr.; sister, Barbara Jean Carter; and grandparents, James and Bernice Ruffin.
He is buried at St. Luke Baptist Church in Waterproof, La.
