Wayne George Cancienne, 59, a native of Bayou Black, La., and resident of Houma, La., died Saturday, Nov. 30, 2013.


Mr. Cancienne was a devoted husband and loving father. He was an account manager and salesman for Concentric Pipe and Tool Rentals. He was an avid Saints Fan and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a volunteer for CASA for kids, supporter of The Haven and member of the American Petroleum Institute. He was a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Cathedral.

He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Jan Cancienne; daughter, Amber Cancienne; brother, Claude Cancienne Jr.; and sisters, Dolores Taylor and Denise Pepperman.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude Sr. and Lula Cancienne.


Visitation will be 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 4, at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral with Mass of Christian Burial to follow. (Chauvin)
