Whitney Paul Lambert Jr., 85, a native of Lafayette, La., and resident of Reserve, La., died at 10:13 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 13, 2011.
Mr. Lambert was a veteran of the U.S. Army, Company B, 70th Armored Infantry Battalion, having served during World War II in the European Theater.
He is survived by his daughters, Kathleen ( Jim) Oswald and Sheila Hebert; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Victoria Lambert; parents, Whitney Sr. and Edna Lambert; sister, Geraldine Murrell; and brother, Frank Lambert.
Burial was at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church Cemetery in Baldwin, La. (Ibert’s)
